Servicio de Ambulancia La Misión exists because our community came together to make it possible. For years, medical emergencies here meant waiting hours for an ambulance to arrive from Ensenada or Rosarito—precious time that could mean the difference between life and death. Now, thanks to the dedication and generosity of local residents, we have a fully equipped ambulance right here in La Misión. It is staffed by trained, professional paramedics and supported by a volunteer department that has worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.



This service is built on community strength: neighbors funding neighbors, investing in the safety and well-being of everyone who calls La Misión home. It is proof of what is possible when people refuse to settle for “good enough” and instead build the care their families deserve. Today, when emergencies strike, expert help arrives in minutes, not hours—and that’s because our community made it happen.

In La Misión, seventeen of our own neighbors have stepped forward to train as TUM B paramedics—Mexico’s nationally recognized standard for prehospital care. They’ve spent over a year in classes, studying late into the night, practicing skills, and giving up countless hours of their personal time. This is more than a certification—it’s a commitment to making sure that when emergencies strike here, our community is not left waiting.



What makes their effort even more remarkable is that they’ve paid for this training themselves. It’s truly a labor of love: volunteers investing their own resources to build the safety net we’ve never had before. Their dedication ensures that La Misión and the surrounding areas can count on skilled, professional care, delivered by people who live here, love this place, and are determined to protect it.
